Maurizio Cosua

Artista

Maurizio Cosua was born in Ferrara in 1943, and had been living in Venice for years. Since his debut he had realised works characterised by an outstanding conceptual framework. In the Seventies he stood out with his artistic interventions at Ferrara’s Centro Polivalente. As a very young man, he asserted himself during Rome’s X Quadriennale d’Arte in 1975. Following he exhibited at the well-known Venice’s Galleria del Cavallino, at Venice’s Palazzo Correr, in New York and Hong Kong, until his solo exhibition at Basilea’s Galleria Marc de Puechredon in 2008. He passed away in September 2009.
